Nanaimo Islanders - Nanaimo, British Columbia
The Nanaimo Islanders have
been playing ice hockey on Vancouver Island since 1996. We are
women aged 19 and beyond who enjoy playing competitive hockey in a
supportive team atmosphere. We are comprised of beginners,
intermediates and veterans and welcome new players.
There is a House
League, comprised of at least 4 teams. If you are a beginner
hockey player, this House League will offer you the opportunity to learn
to play hockey in a game setting. Each team will have a mixture of
beginner, intermediate and advanced players. Teams will have option of
playing occasional away games in Parksville.
The Nanaimo Islanders Travel Team
plays teams from other communities on Fridays 8:00 to 9:30 at the Cliff
McNabb Arena and also travels on either Saturdays or Sundays to play the
teams in their communities. We play teams from Victoria, Mill Bay,
Fuller Lake, Port Alberni, Comox and Campbell River.
This team has intermediate and advanced
players, but we do welcome beginners.

Room (second floor from inside the Arena)
Returning Players: 5-7
p.m.
First Time Players: 7-9
p.m.
Prior to arriving at Registration, please print off these forms and
fill them in. All medical information
remains confidential and is required for team insurance.
