SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE:There is a Monday Night House League, comprised of at least 4 teams. If you are a beginner hockey player,looking to develop your skills and want to understand how to play the game, House League will offer you the opportunity to learn to play hockey in a game setting. Players who would like ice time and have experience are also welcome to participate in this recreational ice time. Each team will have a mixture of beginners,intermediate and advanced players. Teams will have the option of playing occasional away games in Parksville, as well. The Nanaimo Islanders Intermediate Team UNDER CONSTRUCTION...STAY TUNED The Nanaimo Islanders Veteran Team plays teams from other communities on Fridays 8:00 to 9:30 at the Cliff McNabb Arena and also travels on either Saturdays or Sundays to play the teams in their communities. We play teams from Victoria, Mill Bay, Fuller Lake, Port Alberni, Comox and Campbell River. This team has intermediate and advanced players, but we do welcome beginners. FEES 2009-2010 SEASON:$300 - Monday
House League Only

and introduction to hockey emphasized. $200 - Intermediate Team Only -includes 1 home game, 1 away game and 1 practice per month. One year of house league recommended (or equivalent);designed for those who are ready for a little out-of-town competition. Focus is on team play. $350- Veteran Team Only includes 2 home games, 2 away plus one practice per month. Designed for those who want lots of competition and can commit to travelling to get it!
